The Hurricane Health Clinic at the Oxley College of Health Sciences provides University of Tulsa employee and their families with convenient non-emergency medical care. At this time, TU employees and their families covered under Medicare or BlueCross BlueShield health insurance can visit the clinic without a co-pay. More insurance plans will be added in the future.
The clinic is staffed by nurse practitioners and a physician who offer a wide spectrum of primary healthcare services to patients of all ages, including: assessing and treating minor medical urgencies and acute illnesses, administering vaccinations, performing physicals and well-child visits, evaluating and treating chronic conditions and providing routine women’s health services. Laboratory services also are available onsite. Alexander Health Center also is still open to faculty, staff and students.

The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a break from 12 to 1 p.m. Appointments are required. Doctor/nurse practitioner appointments are available in the mornings at this time. Nurse-only appointments are available in the afternoons.

The Hurricane Health Clinic adheres to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), which protects the privacy and security of patient information. No one will have access to a patient’s information other than the providers treating the patient.
Location and Parking
TU’s Hurricane Health Clinic is located on the first floor of the Oxley College of Health Sciences building, 1215 S. Boulder Ave. Parking is available in the lot off Main Street, directly behind the building.
