Northeastern Oklahoma Cochlear Implant Support Group
Everyone is welcome to attend meetings, including individuals with cochlear implants and anyone considering a cochlear implant. Parents, spouses, families and friends are encouraged to attend. We aim to provide a venue for learning, listening practice and camaraderie with other individuals who use cochlear implants as well as their families/friends. Light refreshments are provided at most meetings.
The group meets at 6:45 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month with the exception of May, November and December (in May, there is a group picnic and in November or December, a holiday potluck). Meetings are held at the Mary K. Chapman Center for Communicative Disorders on the TU campus, 2820 E. 5th Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74104.
