The University of Tulsa Oxley College of Health Sciences School of Nursing has been selected by Colleges of Distinction to receive recognition for its breadth of programming, track record for success and accreditation.
For more than 40 years, the TU School of Nursing has been transforming exceptional students into nurses who forever change the lives of others and the communities in which they live. As part of the Oxley College of Health Sciences, our faculty and students collaborate, research and learn the best practices that advance the science and art of nursing.
TU’s School of Nursing offers the following degrees: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preparing students for the Registered Nurse licensure exam, RN to BSN designed for associate degree-prepared registered nurses to obtain a bachelor of science degree in as little as 12 months, and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree with two clinical concentrations in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner.
The personal learning experience in TU’s School of Nursing is enhanced by an on-campus skills laboratory, computer lab and a high-fidelity human simulation center. The skills lab and simulation center afford students the opportunity to practice what they have learned in the classroom prior to completing clinical rotations in local hospitals and other agencies. These opportunities prepare student for the situations that they will encounter in their careers.
